Space Rocket Nation is a film production company founded in 2008 by producer Lene Børglum and director Nicolas Winding Refn after their successfull collaboration on Nicolas Winding Refn's feature film Valhalla Rising.
Space Rocket Nation aims to produce highly artistic and edgy feature films for an international audience by Nicolas Winding Refn and other directors, and to build up a new generation of artistic Scandinavian directors and help them reach the international audience.
The founders both have vast experience of exploring the possibilities of Scandinavian film making, and have participated strongly to the acclaimed standard of Scandinavian films today.
